The 2021 Hyundai Venue is the affordable small SUV from Hyundai that's designed for Urban Adventure. In fact, Hyundai refers to the Venue as their “Urban Compact SUV”. It has a surprising amount of interior space and it has many driver assistant technologies as standard equipment. It’s small footprint and agile handling fits perfectly in the urban environment and its direct competitors are the Nissan Kicks, Ford EcoSport and Honda HRV.

This Venue is the Denim trim and its presented here is exclusive Denim Blue with a white roof and it has a Denim colored interior.

It’s powered by a “Smartstream” 1.6L 16 Valve DOHC Inline 4-cylinder with Continuously Variable Valve Timing that produces 121 hp and 113 lb ft of torque.

For 2021 the manual transmission is gone, and all models are now driven by an intelligent variable transmission with Normal, Sport, and Snow Drive Mode Select and it has Front Wheel Drive

Out Front

LED Headlights with LED Daytime running lights in the area surround the headlights

-the turn signals are just above, and they are the traditional incandescent type bulbs

-I like the bold and chunky chrome accented grille that resembles a fence or barbed wire with the large Hyundai logo front and center

-There is a body-colored front bumper with matte silver lower rub strip fascia

and I like the White accents on the lower outer area of the front bumper

-There are functional side curtain air vents in the outer bumper area

-Below that is the matte black lower grille and valance

-Up top I like the broad flat hood and

Above that there is a laminated front windshield and variable intermittent wipers

Along the side

-17” machined alloy wheels with grey painted pockets wrapped in 205/55 R17 all season tires

-Independent front suspension with MacPherson struts and a coupled torsion beam axle rear suspension with twin tube shocks

-4-wheel ABS with 11” vented rotors up front and 10.3” solid rotors on the rear

-There is matte black wheel well trim, and I like the matte black rocker panel trim with the white accent strip as well.

-You can also see that the wheel wells have a small white accent too playing off the whole blue and white contrasting theme

-These are Heated, power adjustable, and roof-color outside mirrors

-The door handles are body-colored, and they have the touch sensor for lock/unlock and it has a proximity Key with push button start

-There is black beltline and window trim and I like the blacked-out A pillar that makes the roof look like its floating

-and up top, there are brushed steel roof rack Side Rails on the bright white contrasting roof.

-However, this top line Denim trim isn’t available with a sunroof

Out Back

-This is a manual open and close lift-gate

-You see the Roof spoiler and 3^rd brake light

-It has a fixed heated window with intermittent wiper and washer

-These are LED brake and turn signals and I like the extra detailing inside the light unit

-There is the large Hyundai Logo in the middle with the

-VENUE name spelled out across the lift-gate in Chrome trimmed White Block Letters

-Body-colored rear bumper with reflectors and back up lights out at the edges

-There is the rear-view camera in the cut out just above the license plate

-You see more of the contrasting white accents that mimic the front lower bumper

-and in the middle is a matte black are where the license plate is displayed

-Below that is a satin silver lower valance and single exhaust

-Inside there is the cargo security panel that can easily be removed or better yet if you just need it out of the way, Hyundai designed it to simply slide down and rest on its track directly behind the rear seats.

-The second-row seats are split folding 60/40

-Under the cargo floor, there is additional storage and the spare tire and tool kit

-I like the relatively flat floor and the boxy area that you get with the seats folded
