Drivers Information Screen

The screen itself is a 12.3" fully digital screen.  It is the previous version of MBUX, which in many ways I like better than the newer Drivers Information screen, as you have the ability to manipulate the information that shows up in the RPM Gauge, which is an absent feature in the newer systems.  MBUX is the best system I have seen so far, the steering wheel controls are very easy to use, and the thumb trackpads work incredibly well.  

So in the screen, you can customize what you see by selecting different themes, by changing the information in the center part of the screen, and by customizing the information that shows up in the RPM Gauge area.  Responsiveness is quick, just like we have come to expect from MBUX.  Additional screens you get because this is a very capable off road vehicle, are the off road gauges which show you the Pitch and Roll of the vehicle right in the Drivers Information Screen, otherwise, the selections and customizations you can make are similar to every other MBUX system, which makes it easy to operate, if you have used Mercedes MBUX system before.

Infotainment Screen

The screen measures 12.3" just like the Drivers Information Screen and is a touchscreen.  With the exception of the off road pages which are very nice, the rest of the system operates like any other MBUX system.  You have a main menu, and then below that if you scroll down, a group of favorite icons you can customize, to get your most commonly used items in a place that's quick and easy to find.  The system is very responsive and the "Hey Mercedes" feature will run almost everything including Heated, Cooled, and Massaging seats, all of your Media, Navigation and Climate Control.  You also get a passthrough (via the Voice Command Button) to Siri or Google Assistant so you can control your phone with your voice.

Overall a fantastic system, no complaints here!
