The Driver’s Information Screen

The Driver’s Information Screen is a typical Ford layout with two 4.2” screens.  One on the left for vehicle information and one on the right for phone, media, climate, Navigation and economy.  In the center of the screen is an analogue speedometer with a gear shift indicator.

The unique items are found on both digital screens and have to do with the Hybrid part of the vehicle.  On the left screen you get some additional gauges that let you see information related to the battery’s consumption rate and how much of it is being used.  On the right screen you get some additional information regarding the fuel economy and a gauge measuring how economical you're driving.  The steering wheel buttons are laid out in a simple but effective method with 4 arrows and an OK button, so navigating through the menus is quite easy.

Infotainment Screen

The screen is 8” as measured diagonally, and has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (both are a wired connection via USB), AM, FM, Sirius XM and HD Radio as well as built in Navigation.  It is a Sync 3 system and has the Sony sound system.

It does have an additional app that shows power flow as is typical on a Hybrid vehicle, but other than that it is just a standard Sync 3 system.

Overall, I thought the vehicle was well equipped, easy to manipulate the information found in the digital screens, and quite easy to become familiar with fairly quickly.
