2019 Range Rover- CarTech Drivers Screen How To

2019 Range Rover- CarTech Infotainment Screen How To

The Drivers Information Screen

The Drivers Information screen is a fully digital screen.  There are basically two views you can see, one more traditional with the Tach and Speedometer Gauges, and one with a center Tach gauge (digital mph on the inside) and vehicle info are to the left of the gauge and Navigation, Media, and Phone on the right side of the gauge.  Within each view you have all the same options available in terms of looking at information, but it's nice to be able to change the basic view once in a while.

The Informational screens to the left and right of the central RPM gauge contain a fairly traditional layout of items.  The left side is all about things that have to do with the operating of the vehicle, while the right side is your Media, Nav, Phone etc.  Most of the customizing occurs on the left side as there is a whole lot you can customize in terms of things like how long your headlights stay on after you shut the vehicle off and how long do you want the remote start to run for.  Plenty of information can be customized here.

The graphics on the dashboard are very good and are easily readable to broad daylight, and provide a variety of colors which is nice.

Infotainment System

The infotainment system has 2 10 inch screens.  The top screen can be thought of as a normal Infotainment screen, the bottom one deals specifically with climate, offroad items, and Vehicle Information.  You can place your Media or Phone screen in the bottom section so that you could have a full 10 inches of media on the bottom screen and a full 10 inches of Navigation in the top screen.  So while those are the only two you can do that with, it's still nice to have the ability to do that.

This particular vehicle had AM/FM/Sirius XM and HD Radio, along with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, a Wifi Hotspot, and Navigation.

The sound system is a Meridian sound system, and although there are several different ones, this one was the smallest of the systems with only 380 Watts of amplified power.
