Toyota TUNDRA SR5

Toyota TUNDRA SR5

Redesigned from the ground up and engineered for adventure, the 2022 Tundra is Toyota’s toughest, most capable, most advanced Tundra to date.

This is the first all-new version of the Tundra since 2007. Toyota hasn’t had much of a reason to change it. It’s been selling as many as it can build in Texas for years and has one of the most loyal customer bases in the truck world. It’s famously reliable, cheap to operate and holds its value better than any pickup in the segment, so there was a lot on the line with this new one.

There are 7 trim levels available starting with the

SR: $35,950

SR5: $41,455

Limited: $47,550

Platinum: $57,690

1794 Edition: $58,390

TRD Pro: $67,505

Capstone: $74,230

You can also get the uppermost 5 trim levels with a hybrid option

This is the 2022 Toyota Tundra SR5 presented in Army Green with a black cloth interior, and it has a MSRP of $67,600

It’s powered by an i-FORCE 3.5L Twin-Turbo 24 valve, DOHC V6 with 10.4:1 compression, producing 389 hp @ 5200 rpm, and 479 lb.-ft. @ 2400 rpm.

Those twin turbos have electric wastegate valve actuators and a water-cooled intercooler

It’s driven by a 10-speed Electronically Controlled automatic Transmission with intelligence sequential shift mode, and uphill/downhill shift logic with Eco, Normal, Sport and Tow/Haul driving modes

It has a 4WDemand part-time 4-Wheel Drive with electronically controlled 2-speed transfer case and Automatic Limited-Slip Differential
