Nathan Buys a Boat? - 1932 28' Hacker-craft

Gangsters, Tommy Guns, and Dick Tracy – if he had a speedboat, it would have been the V.S.O.P. From any angle, the 1932 28’ Hackercraft looks mean – in the most flattering sense of the word.

The 28’ Hacker was a slight departure from John Ludwig Hacker’s other models in the 1932 lineup. With a nearly plumb bow, and beam a full six-inches wider than other similarly sized runabouts, it had flare in the bow not matched by other manufactures until years later. The extra-low cut windshield paired with the Dietrich convertible top and pleated green leather upholstery is a menacing combination.

There are only three of this model in existence, this is the only one equipped with a Scripps V-12.

All the right work has been done, paint and varnish just freshened. Our customer has enjoyed it for several years, and is ready for another boat.

Triple cockpit, "gangster" windshield, Kroh convertible top, waterline mooring cover, Loadmaster trailer custom for the boat.
